The Hobbit By J.R.R Tolkien

In Regards to the Hobbit its very causal and light when it comes to story telling. Its an easy read book, that immerses you in the journey immediately without making me as a reader fight to understand what i'm reading. The Hero's Journey of is pretty straight forward. Theres a hero (Bilbo) doing his everyday thing, when one day something different happens (Gandalf shows up at his door), and either the character will accept or decline that offer (In which Gandalf comes to Bilbo with the dwarves squad and tells him he must go on a journey to help them take back their homeland. Bilbo declines, but then reconsiders and starts his journey). so all in all its the classic hero's journey!
